The Restaurant Server provides exceptional service to our guests and ensuring a positive dining experience. The position is responsible for taking orders accurately, serving food and beverages efficiently, and addressing guest needs promptly and courteously. It requires a friendly demeanor and attention to detail will contribute significantly to our restaurant's success and reputation. Essential Functions: Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival. Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations. Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing the point-of-sale (POS) system. Relay orders to the kitchen and bar staff promptly and accurately. Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner, following established service standards. Monitor guest tables, anticipate needs, and provide proactive service, such as refilling drinks and offering additional items. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with grace and efficiency, escalating issues to management when necessary. Process guest payments accurately and efficiently using the POS system, including handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tables, server stations, and dining areas. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations. Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned. Collaborate effectively with other team members, including kitchen staff, bartenders, and bussers, to ensure smooth and efficient service. Other Tasks: Assist with setting and clearing tables. Stock service stations with necessary supplies. Run food and beverage orders to tables as needed. Assist with training new server staff. Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
