A Restaurant Server at Sloane's Tavern is focused on delivering exceptional customer service while providing a welcoming dining experience for visiting and local guests, alike. They are responsible for submitting guest menu selections and presenting these food and beverage preferences. Our Restaurant Servers will gain menu knowledge and provide recommendations from our compilation of cuisine and drink offerings, all the while engaging in casual conversation and creating the restaurant experience through their style and service attributes. Other duties include general restaurant preparation and maintaining a sanitary environment.

Requirements

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Refined verbal communication skills
• Physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Desire to work and interact with a team
• Previous serving experience is required

• Basic wine and alcohol knowledge is preferred
