About The Position

Lead the end-to-end execution of restaurant development projects by managing schedules, budgets, and stakeholder coordination. Ensure timely delivery through oversight, risk mitigation, and compliance with brand and regulatory standards. Drive operational excellence by maintaining clear documentation, facilitating smooth project turnover, and continuously improving processes for future restaurant and hospitality projects.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably leading construction, restaurant or hospitality projects.
  • Proven track record managing multiple concurrent projects with complex stakeholder groups.
  • 1+ years of Experience with project planning and scheduling software.
  • 3+ years of Experience with budget tracking and cost control tools.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and critical path timelines for concurrent restaurant projects.
  • Establish project milestones and ensure deliverables are clearly defined.
  • Lead weekly and monthly critical path meetings with all stakeholders (landlord, architects, designers, contractors, vendors, and operators).
  • Monitor dependencies, anticipate roadblocks, and proactively adjust timelines to keep projects on track.
  • Serve as the central point of contact between ownership, management groups, architects, general contractors, consultants, and vendors.
  • Ensure communication is clear, consistent, and documented.
  • Track project costs, change orders, and payment applications.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets and timelines, providing regular cost-to-complete and schedule updates to ownership.
  • Oversee design development, permitting, construction, and FF&E procurement/installation.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, landlord requirements, and local code/regulations.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to schedule, cost, or quality.
  • Escalate critical issues promptly with recommended solutions.
  • Provide weekly project reports to ownership highlighting progress, budget status, risks, and upcoming milestones.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of contracts, permits, approvals, and project correspondence.
  • Coordinate inspections, punch lists, and turnover to restaurant operators.
  • Ensure all warranties, manuals, and closeout packages are completed.
  • Document lessons learned from each project to refine processes and improve efficiency on future builds.
