About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff. This position supports overall restaurant operations by ensuring hygiene standards are met and equipment and facilities are kept in good condition. Ensures each customer’s experience meets or exceeds expectations. The purpose of this position is to ensure smooth daily operations by performing a variety of tasks that contribute to customer satisfaction and overall efficiency. Maintains all utensils and food production equipment in good working order by using the correct cleaning, sharpening, and storage procedures at all times. Utilizes proper cutting surfaces. Performs maintenance tasks as scheduled or assigned. Demonstrates knowledge of utilization of the Kaivac Univac for mopping, scrubbing, and drying floors in the kitchen, restrooms, and dining rooms. Learns and applies the correct location for all items stored and used, such as food products, paper products, cleaning supplies, etc. Mops spills or leaks quickly to prevent accidents. Demonstrates knowledge of proper handling and storage of all sanitizing and cleaning chemicals. Cleans the customer service areas by following the proper procedures, including outside landscaping, building entrances, dining room tables and condiment stations, restrooms, and food production and storage units. Follows proper procedures for maintaining sidewalks and parking lot sanitation to include sweeping, scrubbing, etc. Notifies the management person on duty of any leaks or equipment failures such as refrigerators/freezers are not maintaining proper temperatures.
