About The Position

The Restaurant / Entertainment Manager role is an active position, requiring the individual to be on their feet, coordinating multiple team members, and problem-solving in real time. This role assists the General Manager with all aspects of the center and its management. In the General Manager’s absence, the manager assumes responsibility for all center and floor management, including entertainment, Food & Beverage, and the property and its equipment. The role demands an unwavering commitment to guest satisfaction and a dedication to developing the team’s hourly staff. This position is considered a great stepping stone for those aspiring to become a General Manager. The ideal candidate is a committed team member ready to fill in for the General Manager as needed, possessing strong guest service sensibility, interpersonal, and communication skills. Flexibility to work extended workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays is essential. The candidate should be a dedicated team player skilled at developing team talents.

Requirements

  • 2+ Years of Management Experience in kitchen, bar, restaurant, and food service operations
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • The ability to supervise center operations staff

  • Knowledge of POS register systems
  • Ability to work varying shifts, from weekends to holidays, in addition to extended workdays as needed by your center

  • Flexible enough to support the center through extended workdays, in addition to being able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Dedicated team player who’s great at developing the talents of your team

Responsibilities

  • Be a champion for our guests, consistently delivering exceptional service, soliciting valuable feedback, and actively addressing and resolving guest complaints
  • Continually hone our operational execution; schedule staffing levels to meet your center’s needs and maximize the guest experience
  • Capitalize on all business opportunities in your market area by executing our marketing strategies to drive sales (leagues, open play bowling, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain a good relationship with league bowlers and officers to help grow our league business; adhere to league formats, distribute league announcements, and perform other administrative duties associated with our leagues
  • Recruit, hire, train, and schedule a talented team of hourly center staff
  • Lead the team and influence them through effective motivation; leverage the individual strengths of your team members to ensure guest satisfaction and maximize center productivity; delegate, delegate, delegate...
  • Oversee the management and expansion of your center’s Food & Beverage program, ensuring the highest quality standards and exceptional guest satisfaction in our dining offerings
  • Provide ongoing training and supervision to ensure consistent execution of corporate initiatives and standards, fostering a thriving sales culture
