The Restaurant Manager is responsible for providing comprehensive oversight of the restaurant operations during all three meal periods. This role involves managing and training staff, collaborating with the Banquets Team to execute events, overseeing the Bar and Lounge areas, and spearheading the development of innovative programs for In Room Dining.

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant across all three meal periods, ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to meet demand.
  • Implement and enforce policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and mentor restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, and support personnel.
  • Design and conduct training programs to enhance staff performance and guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with the Banquets Team to plan, organize, and execute high-volume events, ensuring seamless coordination and exceptional service delivery.
  • Oversee event setup, staffing, and breakdown to guarantee successful outcomes.
  • Supervise the Bar and Lounge areas, including staffing, inventory control, and quality of service.
  • Develop and update beverage menus, ensuring they align with current trends and guest preferences.
  • Create and implement innovative programs for In Room Dining, focusing on enhancing the guest experience and driving revenue.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop unique and appealing menu options.
  • Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, setting the standard for staff interactions with guests.
  • Handle guest complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner, seeking solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze financial reports, including sales and expenses, to identify opportunities for cost control and revenue enhancement.
  • Develop and manage the department budget, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
  • Stay informed about and ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations, including health, safety, and liquor laws.
  • Maintain all necessary permits and licenses required for restaurant operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Preferred).
  • Proven experience in restaurant management, with a track record of success in achieving revenue and profitability goals.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage trends, as well as industry best practices.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and restaurant management software.
