About The Position

Dacha is hiring a restaurant manager for its Navy Yard location, which includes Jackie American Bistro and Dacha Beer Garden. A successful candidate will have extensive experience in fine-dining restaurants with emphasis on FOH training and service. Qualified candidates will have at least four years of relevant management experience and a proven track record of success and growth. The candidate will join a small management team and will focus on updating and implementing FOH training programs.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or ten years of equivalent professional experience is required.
• Four years or more of progressive large fine-dining restaurant management experience is required.
• Expert knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
• Superb effective business writing skills.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Impeccable personal presentation and sense of decorum.

Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire, and manage all staff; up-keep teams high spirit.
• Floor, opening, and closing responsibilities.
• Develop and implement on-going training and continuing education programs for all FOH staff.
• Upkeep FOH training materials, including service manuals and menu study guides.
• Develop staff evaluation matrices and implement performance review programs.
• Assist in hiring, on-boarding, and evaluating staff.
• Ensure high quality of service.
• Maintain active and valid ABRA Manager and Food Manager Licenses.
• Work during evening, night hours and weekends.
