About The Position

Will work closely with the General Manager to develop strategies for growth and success. Coordinates and directs restaurant activities during the shift based on guest traffic flow. Monitors sales, employee hours, and guest counts throughout the shift to ensure proper staffing. Directs hourly employees to fulfill job duties and priorities. Coach employees on guest service skills, service cycle, and other guest-focused activities to meet or exceed guest service standards. Interacts with guests inquiring about food and service. Monitors employee break procedures to be sure breaks are taken as scheduled according to federal, state or local regulations. Completes shift walk-throughs, including temperature checklist, and takes corrective actions. Establish and maintain appropriate security protocols for guests, employees, and facility safety. Provide regular training and quality performance results to managers and employees. Timely completion of all financial obligations and reporting, including payroll, payables, and receivables, etc. Recognize and celebrate the contributions and achievements of others.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED certificate
  • One or more years of experience as an hourly restaurant shift leader/coordinator
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ability to multitask and take initiative when appropriate
  • Motivated self-starter
