About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: Here at Skytop Lodge, our associates know to “Expect the Unexpected” This position must be committed to making every experience memorable all while having fun and relishing the incredible atmosphere of the resort. PRIMARY DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS: •Deliver internal and external guest service the Skytop way, going above and beyond •Responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to other employees and coworkers to provide superior guest service •Responsible for all day-to-day operations •Meets all financial goals in accordance to budget •Works closely with the chef and other managers to create an atmosphere of teamwork •Ensures accurate and timely submission of payroll •Attends all mandatory meetings •Follow up with guest feedback in a timely fashion •Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task in high pressure situations •Ability to communicate effectively and professionally

Requirements

  • 1+ year in upscale restaurant as supervisor/management required
  • 1+ year working with wine/spirit service required
  • Demonstrates interpersonal sound judgment and decision-making skills
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
  • Must be able to work in a team
  • Must be able to stand entire shift
  • Some of the time will be spent working actively including but not limited to bending, stretching, lifting and walking.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Simple arithmetic.
  • Self-aware, clean, friendly, professional, organized, and self-motivated.
  • Knowledge of food handling, supervisory experience, and customer service.
