About The Position

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for providing comprehensive oversight of the restaurant operations during meal various periods primarily in the evenings . This role involves managing and training restaurant and bar staff , scheduling and inventory procedures. The restaurant manager assists and reports to the Director of Food & Beverage.

Requirements

• Must have 2+ years of hotel restaurant experience.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of food and beverage trends, as well as industry best practices.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and restaurant management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary.
• Implement and enforce policies and procedures to optimize service, efficiency , and productivity.
• Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and mentor restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, and support personnel.
• Assist in the d esign and implementation of training programs to enhance staff performance and guest satisfaction.
• Supervise the Bar and Lounge areas, including staffing, inventory control, and quality of service.
• Assist in the d evelop ment of beverage menus, ensuring they align with current trends and guest preferences.
• Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, setting the standard for staff interactions with guests.
• Handle guest complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner, seeking solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Labor /scheduling controls
