About The Position

Westgate Resorts is seeking a Restaurant Manager to coordinate the daily responsibilities of the Department at our Las Vegas Resort Casino. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for hiring, training, supervising, and scheduling staff to ensure that quality standards are met for food, service, cleanliness, and merchandising. This role includes assisting in the preparation of menus, analyzing and forecasting total revenue and expenses, and reviewing customer acceptance of food, beverage, and service.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language clearly.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to provide clear direction and guidance to staff.
  • Ability to observe performance and encourage improvement.
  • Ability to monitor workload and make staffing adjustments accordingly.
  • Ability to exercise judgment and implement control over staff performance.
  • Ability to deal with problems requiring initiative and good judgment.
  • Ability to remain calm and alert during emergency situations and heavy hotel activity.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.
  • Mathematical skills necessary to analyze reports, prepare forecasts, and budgets.
  • Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise F&B staff including training, selection, counseling, and discipline.
  • Ensure adequate staff scheduling to provide superior service.
  • Analyze reports and assist with forecasts and budgets.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Manage all office procedures.
