About The Position

Urth Caffe is seeking a dedicated and experienced manager to oversee daily operations, motivate teamwork, and ensure exceptional customer service in a restaurant/cafe environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, coffee, food service, and leadership, contributing to the company's growth and success since its inception in 1989 as the first heirloom and organic coffee company in the USA.

Requirements

• Available to work a flexible schedule (Rotating Shifts)
• Previous experience in the food industry/restaurant or fast food
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• General Safety compliance with all Company Safety Policies
• Must perform physical activities in a variety of environmental conditions that require moderate strength including climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and handling of materials
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• The position requires the ability to lift 25 lbs. Anything over 25 lbs. assistance will be given.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, motivate, lead, and provide for strong, professional teamwork among employees during scheduled shifts
• Ensure efficient food production and service in compliance with quality standards
• Train new team members
• Oversee inventory management and ordering
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
• Control Profit & Loss
• Conduct 5-minute meetings to communicate to employees about safety, guest service, food-related items, promotions, and training
• Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports, and schedules in an organized and timely manner
• Send employees on break, observe and provide training for employee's performance and work productivity.
