About The Position

As a Restaurant Manager at Fairmont Orchid, you will strategically lead the Food & Beverage team to enhance guest satisfaction. You will own the dining room, crafting seamless, memorable experiences from the first greeting to the final farewell. Collaborating with chefs, you will showcase culinary and service artistry while interacting positively with customers and resolving issues. Your role will also involve innovating promotions, managing inventory, and maintaining communication with all departments to ensure customer service excellence. You will develop team spirit, conduct performance appraisals, and prepare training plans to inspire and develop your team. This position requires a passion for hospitality and a commitment to luxury service delivery.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in food & beverage leadership, preferably in luxury hotels or restaurants.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and training skills.
  • Ability to focus attention on department needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
  • Good communication and customer contact skills.
  • Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
  • Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages is an advantage.
  • Ability to work well in stressful & high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Detailed & service-oriented with an eye for detail.
  • Provide necessary State and Federal Requirements to work in Food and Beverage (Tuberculosis Clearance).
  • Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage will be an advantage.

  • Comply with Fairmont rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the hotel’s facilities.
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment.
  • Adhere to safety, health, security, and loss control policies and procedures.
