About The Position

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in a cook's position in a quality kitchen.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 35 pounds.
  • Standing or walking to a significant degree.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure efficient and proper set-up of assigned station by time of service.
  • Assist head cooks in production and service.
  • Work in head cook's absence, as specified in that position's job description.
  • Assist in other kitchen production areas, such as pantry and banquets, as needed.
  • Responsible for keeping position on the line clean and sanitary during shift and completing daily checklists accurately.
  • Maintain proper storage procedures and follow Food Handling guidelines as specified by Health Department and hotel requirements.
