About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Line Cook to join our upscale restaurant kitchen. This role is responsible for executing dishes to a high standard while supporting daily service and prep operations. Ideal candidates take pride in consistency, technique, and teamwork and are interested in growth within a professional kitchen environment. Ravenwood Golf Club is one of the Rochester region’s premier championship courses, named America’s “5th Best New Public Upscale Course” by Golf Digest when it opened in 2003. Architect Robin Nelson designed this New York gem, which has hosted the 2003 and 2009 New York State Golf Championships, as well as the 2004 U.S. Open Qualifier.

Requirements

Previous experience as a line cook in an upscale or high-quality restaurant
Strong understanding of kitchen fundamentals and station management
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented mindset with a professional attitude

Nice To Haves

Culinary training or equivalent experience preferred

Responsibilities

Execute menu items with precision, consistency, and attention to detail
Perform daily prep and station setup
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
Work collaboratively with the culinary team during service
Follow established recipes, plating standards, and procedures
Assist with inventory rotation and waste reduction
