About The Position

The Host/Hostess is responsible for delivering excellence in guest service by developing relationships with guests, providing personalized service, anticipating and delivering guests’ needs. The Host comprehends the restaurant operation and seats our guests with a friendly demeanor keeping their expectations and the needs of the operation in mind.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to multi task.
• Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift.
• Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10lbs without assistance.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to obtain and mantain a valid Riverside County Food Handlers Card.

Nice To Haves

• Prior host experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a warm and welcoming manner
• Attend to and anticipate guests needs
• Seat guests, and introduce server
• Assist managers in opening and closing duties
• Answer phone calls
• Control heavy volume at Restaurant entrance
• Inform the guest about buffets
• Be familiar with menu to assist with questions as needed
• Assign guest checks
• Perform other duties as assigned
