About The Position

Restaurant Hostess/Host Saturday's and Sunday's only 8:00 am to 11:00 am. A restaurant host is the first point of contact, responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating the dining room flow to ensure a positive experience. The optimize seating to balance server workloads, provide accurate wait times, and handle guest inquiries, acting as a crucial link between guests and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting and Seating: Welcoming guests, escorting them to tables, and providing menus.
  • Reservation Management: Handling phone inquiries, booking, and managing reservations.
  • First Impressions: Setting the tone for service, providing a welcoming atmosphere, and addressing immediate guest needs.
  • Side Work: Assisting with cleaning, sanitizing, organizing the front -of-house, and in some cases, handling to-go orders.
  • Communication: Coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
