About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our team at our new steakhouse location in Westlake, Texas. In this role, you will lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, from hiring and training staff to managing daily business activities and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This is a pre-opening position, offering the unique opportunity to shape the culture and success of the restaurant from the ground up.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in a high-volume, full-service steakhouse or fine dining establishment. Pre-opening experience preferred
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, guests, and vendors
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations, wine and beverage knowledge
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and manage multiple priorities
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Oversee all front of house restaurant operations working closely with the restaurant Executive Chef
• Hire, train, and manage all restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, cooks, and kitchen staff
• Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to attract and retain customers
• Manage inventory and order supplies to ensure adequate stock levels
• Set and achieve sales targets and profitability goals
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as local health and safety regulations
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork and growth
