Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED; College or University Degree preferred.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must pass background check criteria.
  • 2-4 years of operational management experience in the Quick Service Restaurant industry or retail environment, including Profit & Loss responsibility.
  • Basic business math and accounting skills to manage Profit & Loss in the restaurant.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Good oral/written communication skills and strong team-building capability.
  • Strong analytical/decision-making skills.
  • Basic personal computer literacy.
  • Passionate about providing excellence in execution of quality food, service, cleanliness, and speed standards.
  • Dynamic, energetic, and positive leader; self-starter, proactively driven to get things done.
  • Demonstrated track record of workplace achievement in the selection, coaching, and development of managerial employees.
  • Proven ability to drive customer satisfaction, financial performance, and employee satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a Pizza Hut restaurant within company policies and guidelines to ensure customer satisfaction and profit maximization.
  • Train employees and respond to customer service needs while modeling appropriate behaviors in the restaurant.
  • Drive culture, problem solve, resolve conflicts, communicate, and motivate to achieve results through others.
  • Recruit and equip high-quality operators to deliver great customer experiences.
  • Build a healthy and robust bench of developed and capable Managers and Team Members.
  • Lead performance management processes for all employees in the restaurant.
  • Ensure complete and timely execution of corporate and local marketing programs.
  • Facilitate a safe working and customer experience environment by promoting safe work behaviors.
  • Control day-to-day operations by scheduling labor and ordering food and supplies for a restaurant with average daily transactions of 200-500.
  • Ensure compliance with local health and safety codes and company safety and security policies.
  • Serve as a role model in resolving serious customer issues and training managers to meet or exceed customer service standards.
  • Track, analyze, and identify root causes of customer complaints and implement systematic solutions.
  • Build SMART action plans to resolve issues in the restaurant.
  • Monitor restaurant Speed with Service (SWS) performance and provide coaching to meet performance targets.
  • Control Profit & Loss by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, and reviewing financial reports.
  • Ensure maintenance of equipment, facility, and grounds through a Preventative Maintenance Plan based on Company Standards.
  • Review and prioritize store capital expenditure requests and establish vendor relationships for scale leverage.
  • Analyze sales, labor, inventory, and controllables to coach on corrective actions for margin and sales growth targets.
