About The Position

Chetola Resort is seeking friendly, energetic, and service-oriented Food Runners/Bussers to join our team at Timberlake’s Restaurant. In this dual role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring smooth dining room operations by delivering food promptly to tables, assisting servers, and maintaining a clean, welcoming dining environment. Requirements

• Energetic, reliable, and enthusiastic about hospitality.

• Professional appearance and demeanor with a guest-first mindset.
• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but not required — we will train the right candidate.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays or bus tubs for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests quickly, accurately, and with a warm, professional demeanor.
• Communicate clearly with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
• Assist in accommodating guest requests and ensuring satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
• Clear tables efficiently and reset them according to restaurant standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, server stations, and side work areas.
• Refill water glasses, assist with beverages, and support servers in providing exceptional guest service.
• Support servers during peak times to ensure timely service.
• Assist with polishing silverware, stocking supplies, and other side duties as needed.
• Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to create a smooth and enjoyable guest experience.
