As an important member of our Facilities Maintenance Crew, you'll be responsible for a variety of interior and exterior functions. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and organization in both the kitchen and storage areas, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment for all team members. You will also be responsible for receiving shipments and managing waste disposal, as well as performing light maintenance on various equipment used in the restaurant.

  • Clean & Organize Kitchen & Restaurant (includes cleaning tables for customers, stocking beverages and sliced meats, keeping all items off the floor, cleaning and clearing prep dishes, creating a spacious work area for team members)
  • Clean & Organize Storage (coordinating with management to transport needed product for the restaurant, organizing stock, having all items grouped properly, FIFO, sweeping, mopping, keeping items off the floor)
  • Receive shipments and maintain escort privileges (Aramark, Sysco, produce and other vendors)
  • Transport trash, cardboard and other waste (minimum 2x per day)
  • General equipment knowledge & light maintenance (with guidance) of golf carts, machinery, ovens, reach-in coolers, walk-in coolers
  • Ability to identify issues quickly and inform management to get service technicians scheduled ASAP
  • Training will be provided to become familiar with related equipment to ensure safety and proper operation during use
  • Other similar duties as assigned
  • Ability to pass a clear 10-year Criminal History Records Check due to employment at the SRQ Sarasota Airport
  • General knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills
