About The Position

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while ensuring compliance with alcohol serving laws. This role involves interacting with customers, maintaining cleanliness, and managing bar supplies in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 to 2 years of bartending experience
• Certified to serve alcohol
• CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with inventory and ordering.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes to prepare cocktails and other drinks, including adding garnish.
• Serves members and customers in a timely fashion, checking identification, accepting payment, and answering questions.
• Maintains cleanliness by cleaning bar surfaces, furniture, and equipment, and returning used dishware to the bar/kitchen.
• Maintains supplies by re-stocking liquors, wines, beer, and non-alcoholic ingredients, and replacing beer barrels.
• Reconciles the bar's cash register at the end of the shift.

Benefits

• Hourly wage starting at $15.50 and up to $19.25 based on experience and qualifications.
