Nestled on the shores of Lake LBJ, our resort is a destination where genuine Texas hospitality meets luxury. We aren't just looking for someone to pour drinks; we are looking for a mixology enthusiast who can contribute to the sophisticated ambiance that defines our resort. Whether you're serving golfers after a round or members at a high-end banquet, you are the face of our luxury service. The Role: Excellence Behind the Bar As a Resort Bartender, you will play a vital role in the guest experience by crafting exquisite cocktails and offering top-tier service in a high-volume, luxury environment.

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid TABC Certificate and Food Handler's Certificate
  • Previous bartending experience is required; luxury resort or high-end restaurant experience is highly valued.
  • Excellent oral communication skills with a professional, "impeccable" appearance.
  • A problem-solver with a commitment to excellence and a "sense of TEAM."
  • Minimum age of 18 (21+ preferred).
  • Ability to comprehend reading materials and follow complex drink recipes.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages according to strict resort recipes, ensuring consistent quality and proper portions.
  • Provide attentive, personable service, utilizing deep knowledge of house wines, craft beers, and premium liquors to drive sales and up-sell.
  • Maintain bar stock, manage "par lists," and ensure the bar area is arranged to specification.
  • Adhere to all TABC regulations, food safety standards, and OSHA guidelines to maintain a clean and professional workspace.
  • Participate in daily pre-shift meetings and coordinate with Restaurant Managers to ensure seamless service execution.
  • Execute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and specialized resort functions as needed.
