About The Position
Assistant Manager – sneakybird (Surprise) Compensation: $36,000 per year + tip pool Schedule: Full-time, weekends About sneakybird At sneakybird, we’re redefining quick casual dining with a healthier approach — never ever fried. Founded in Scottsdale in 2022, our brand has quickly grown by focusing on bold flavors, oven-grilled chicken, and community connection. With our newest location opening in Arcadia, we’re looking for leaders who share our passion for food, service, and people. Position Overview The Assistant Manager will support the General Manager in leading daily operations, supervising team members, and ensuring excellent customer experiences. This role requires hands-on leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to uphold sneakybird’s standards of quality and hospitality.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory or assistant management experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends as necessary.
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service and upholding sneakybird’s brand values.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing day-to-day restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Lead and motivate team members, providing ongoing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining service standards and handling guest concerns promptly.
- Support food quality and safety standards, including adherence to all health and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory, manage stock levels, and assist with ordering supplies.
- Oversee cash handling and POS transactions with accuracy and accountability.
- Uphold company policies and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Assist in scheduling staff to balance labor costs with business needs.
- Step into leadership roles in the absence of the General Manager.
