About The Position

Premier Food Services at the Del Mar Fairgrounds & Racetrack is looking for Restaurant and Banquet Servers. This is a seasonal/temporary position for the 2025 Breeders Cup Championship October 30th - November 1st. Servers must have 2 years of service experience and have their Food Handlers certification and RBS #. Must be able to attend orientation on Saturday, October 18th and any additional training shifts as directed by management.

Requirements

• Two years of food or cocktail service experience
• Must be able to carry a service tray set with up to eight full plates
• Position requires standing, walking and lifting up to 25 pounds
• Must have the ability to work late hours, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Must be RBS certified by the start of employment
• Servers must be a minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcohol

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Aloha POS system

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing timely food and beverage service
• Work in a fast paced, high demand environment
• General knowledge of food and alcohol is required
• Proficiency with touch screen POS systems (Aloha experience a plus)
• Perform other restaurant duties as assigned

Benefits

• $16.80 per hour compensation, not including tips
