About The Position

HealthFitness is seeking a service-driven professional to work as a part-time, Rest and Recovery Specialist at the Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness Center in Bentonville, AR. This role plays a key part in helping guests relax, recover, and recharge by overseeing the delivery of services and all related equipment and direct member programs in the Rest and Recharge department. The specialist demonstrates and guides guests through multiple recovery technologies for a quality experience, serving as the first impression for guests seeking to relax and rejuvenate.

Requirements

  • High School diploma and 1+ years’ experience in the health and wellness field.
  • Demonstrated commitment to a health-related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1+ years’ related industry experience.
  • CPR, First Aid and AED certification through the American Heart Association, Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills including the ability to motivate others.
  • Competency in the delivery of HealthFitness and site-specific programs and services.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook; and working knowledge of the member management system, databases, and other software.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in massage therapy, recovery, stretching, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees recovery suite areas – both complimentary and paid services; interacts with participants and monitors equipment and participant safety.
  • Provides direct program services in a variety of areas (e.g., cryotherapy, treatment, hydrotherapy, compression, red light, etc.).
  • May assist with marketing and communication.
  • Assists with Whole Health programming.
  • Other duties as needed/assigned.
