Respool Machine Operator - 3rd Shift (10pm - 6am)
About The Position
This position is for a Respool Machine Operator. This operator is someone who operates machinery with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and precision. This operator is also knowledgeable on the handling of machines, follow safety protocols and follow standard operating procedures. This operator identifies potential issues, maintains equipment and reports malfunctions. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to perform basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply, and divide) on various units of measures.
- Ability to apply basic math functions to whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to make appropriate decisions in regards to machine setup and product quality.
- Minimal knowledge and skill of mechanical operations.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally lift up to 55 lbs.
- Ability to see small defects and differentiate colors during in-process quality control procedures.
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
- Required to use fingers and hands to handle or feel, grasp, reach, lift, push, and pull.
- Occasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
