About The Position

This position involves working with individuals with developmental disabilities, providing community habilitation and respite services. The role requires the ability to transport individuals into the community and perform necessary documentation related to their care. Applicants must have a clean NYS driver's license and their own vehicle. The job is part-time, with hours ranging from 5 to 29 hours per week, depending on the needs of the individuals served.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clean NYS driver's license.
• Own vehicle for transportation.
• Must have an electronic device, such as a smartphone, to clock in/out.
• Comm Hab staff must have a desktop/laptop for documentation.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of experience with developmental disabilities with children or adults.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Transport individuals into the community.
• Enter daily goals on time sheets and monthly summary notes.
• Provide community habilitation and respite services.
• Document required information accurately and timely.
