The employee will provide support in various settings according to individualized service and behavior support plans, maintaining a clean and safe therapeutic environment, and implementing infection control protocols. Additional tasks include assisting with personal care, teaching habilitative skills, facilitating ethical decision-making, and ensuring proper medication administration. The employee will also transport individuals to various activities and appointments, develop understanding of specialized clinical knowledge, and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or its educational equivalent.
  • Valid Driver’s License with no more than five points.
  • Ability to meet essential physical demands of the position.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm for working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
  • Basic computer skills including email and related systems.
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships.
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Willingness to work beyond regularly scheduled hours.
