About The Position

The Respite Counselor (Relief) position at Riverside Community Care is an entry-level role focused on supporting individuals in crisis as they transition back into the community. Requirements

• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for local travel.
• Associate's degree with one year of experience required, or High School Diploma with three years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in a mental health setting strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and implement daily operations of the facility.
• Ensure quality of care for consumers.
• Conduct intake of new consumers.
• Implement treatment plans as directed.
• Facilitate group sessions for consumers.
• Supervise consumers to ensure their safety and stabilization.
• Perform occasional home visits to assess the needs of individuals served.
