About The Position
As a Respite Caregiver for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals and providing much-needed support to their families. This position is designed for compassionate individuals who are dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of those with developmental disabilities, including Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and Intellectual Disabilities. You will be responsible for providing care, supervision, and companionship to clients in their homes and local communities. Your role will allow primary caregivers to take a break, whether for personal errands, date nights, or simply to recharge, ensuring that they can maintain their own mental health and well-being. The Respite Caregiver position offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to choose your own hours based on the needs of the families you support. This flexibility is ideal for those who may have other commitments or prefer to work part-time. You will receive comprehensive training and ongoing support from our award-winning agency, which is committed to equipping you with the necessary tools and resources to provide the best possible care.
