About The Position
The Respite Care Provider is responsible for providing compassionate care to elderly individuals with Alzheimer's or other related illnesses or disorders. This role supports a high quality of life for elderly individuals by providing in-home and personal care, which includes assistance with housekeeping, cooking, personal care, and grooming. The provider will also escort clients to appointments and social functions, assist with paying bills and taking prescribed medications, and engage in light exercise and other related activities. Additionally, the provider will observe clients for changes in health and well-being, regularly document activities and observations, and communicate with supervisors, family members, medical professionals, and other care providers.
