POSITION SUMMARY: The Respiratory Supervisor, in collaboration with the Director, will manage the day-to-day clinical and program operations. Requires the ability to complete job responsibilities that maximizes clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction and interdepartmental workflow. Assists manager in orientation of new employees, education, skills competency determination, performance improvement, problem solving and counseling, scheduling and special projects. Responsible for the maintenance of the ABG Lab in accordance with CAP and CLIA standards. Performs critical and non-critical respiratory care procedures and/or diagnostics through both physician directives and respiratory care protocols. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
