About The Position

The Pulmonary Manager works to ascertain that the care given to patients within the hospital is in accordance with physicians’ orders and in conformity with accrediting bodies, Medicare standards, and current OSDH rules and regulations. This position is responsible for the appropriate utilization of resources to optimize patient care through delegating and coordinating of care in Pulmonary Therapy, Pulmonary Function (PFT) Lab, Electroencephalography (EEG) Lab, and the Sleep Lab. This position is responsible for assuring standards of practice and patient care are consistently implemented through all areas of responsibility. They report to the Director of Cardiovascular Services and collaborate with other hospital executives, communicating policies related to the hospital and their role. The pulmonary manager is accountable for the goals and objectives of the division for departments within the scope of the leader to include productivity, performance improvement, budget compliance and survey satisfaction results. They lead with the hospital’s culture in mind, upholding the performance standards and furthering them within the hospital. The manager will support the executive officers in implementing new programs and services. The manager’s overall objective is to further the above-mentioned goals which support exceptional patient care to every patient every time.
