About The Position

Seeking a Respiratory Manager! Full-time, days Baptist Health Floyd, Respiratory Care Southern Indiana/ Louisville, Kentucky area The Respiratory Care Manager is responsible for the overall management and leadership of the respiratory care services department. This role involves overseeing clinical operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining high standards of patient care. The manager will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance the quality of care. The manager must adhere to regulatory standards and foster a positive, collaborative work environment. Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree from an AMA Accredited Respiratory Program Master’s degree in management, healthcare administration, or business preferred
  • Successful completion of the CRT or RRT exam from the NBRC
  • Indiana State Respiratory Care Practitioner License
  • BNRP certification within 6 months of hire PALS certification required, will provide training
  • ACLS certification within 12 months of hire
  • NRP certification within 6 months of hire Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required Care or American Lung Association within 1 year
  • Three 3 years of previous experience

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in management, healthcare administration, or business preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible and accountable for leading daily operation of the department(s) to include fiscal management, staff development, and resource management with the goal of achieving quality and safe patient care.
  • May perform Respiratory Therapist duties as a working leader/manager when needed.
  • Develops and implements process improvements necessary to optimize patient satisfaction, clinical excellence and adoption of evidence-based practices.
