The position involves participating in all aspects of performance management for the Respiratory Care Department, which includes recruiting, retention, hiring, firing, and salary recommendations of department staff. The role also ensures the provision of education and competency of department staff meets facility and regulatory standards, and facilitates regional operational programs and standardization of procedures as assigned by the Regional Director within the Respiratory Care Departments for Boise, Nampa, Ontario and Baker City. The expected time allocation is approximately 70 percent for management functions and 30 percent for patient care functions.
