Goal/Purpose: Build real-world inpatient hospital experience while you complete your Respiratory Therapy education. Become part of a strong pipeline that creates a post‑graduation career path. Program Description: A paid and structured internship for students actively enrolled in a CoARC‑accredited Respiratory Therapy program. You’ll support the department through equipment and workflow responsibilities, and if you obtain a Delaware Working Student RCP Permit, you may perform supervised patient care activities within scope and competency. Role/Responsibility: Respiratory equipment processing: clean, assemble, transport, stock, and maintain supplies / equipment. Participate in respiratory education sessions. Learn and follow infection prevention and safety practices. Patient-care scope (if licensed Student) Perform supervised clinical tasks under the direction of licensed Respiratory Therapists.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled and in good standing in a CoARC‑accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- BLS
- Ability to follow protocols, communicate professionally, and safely handle equipment in clinical areas.
Responsibilities
