Pima Medical Institute is hiring a Respiratory Therapy Instructor (RRT). Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8 am to 5 pm Location: San Marcos Campus Compensation: $35.66 to $44.57 hourly Full-Time: Excellent Benefits Welcome to Life-Work Balance! Consistent income and consistent schedule! Your role and Impact: Educate & Demonstrate: Deliver lectures and lead labs, using your clinical experience to prepare students for real-world scenarios. Drive Student Success: Maintain an 80% student success rate by monitoring progress, mentoring at-risk students, and reducing course withdrawals. Curriculum Implementation: Execute lesson plans aligned with program objectives, integrating guest speakers and field trips to enhance learning. Student Mentorship: Advise students on curriculum paths and coordinate externship opportunities to bridge the gap between school and clinical practice. Compliance & Administration: Maintain accurate grades and attendance records, and ensure all activities meet accreditation standards. What you bring to Pima Medical Institute:

Requirements

  • Active RRT and State RCP license.
  • 3+ years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
  • Associate degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (or 4+ years of experience in lieu of a degree).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong verbal/written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Teaching experience is preferred, but a passion for education is essential
