Respiratory Therapy Assistant - Lincoln (24 hrs, 3-11pm)
About The Position
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible to assist RT staff as assigned to ensure quality service delivery. Collaborates with licensed respiratory personnel in the areas of stocking, cleaning, sterilization and maintenance of respiratory therapy supplies and equipment. Prepare and maintain ventilators and other RT equipment for patient use Tear down RT equipment upon patient discharge and deliver to CS for processing Monitor RT equipment and supplies in RT storage areas Stocking RT supplies in patient rooms Check crash carts and perform crash cart QA Clean and process bronchoscopes Assist RT staff as assigned Assist with QA and infection prevention initiatives as assigned Perform O2 tank rounds Cleaning of the environment and equipment Reordering, stocking and processing of equipment and supplies as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalency required. Current progress toward a degree in Respiratory Therapy or applicable health care experience preferred.
