AMG Specialty Hospital- Northwest Indiana is offering up to a $10,000 Sign-On BONUS for Full Time Respiratory Therapist for Night Shifts! The Respiratory Therapist performs technical work concerned with administering therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities. Operating and monitoring respiratory equipment, such as, continuous and intermittent ventilators, medical gas delivery apparatus, incentive breathing/hyperinflation devices, environmental control systems, and aerosol devices; administering medical gases, humidification, aerosols, and respiratory medications; maintaining clearance of patients natural and artificial airways; providing primary assistance in cardiopulmonary resuscitation; and if applicable, obtaining blood samples, running blood samples, maintaining the Arterial blood gas laboratory, reporting analyte results and interpreting blood gas data. Shift Differentials are paid for Night and Weekend Shifts! $10,000 Sign-On Bonus or Tuition Reimbursement is offered as per the terms of an Employment Assistance Agreement with a 2-year minimum commitment. Requirements

Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in state of employment (RT, RRT, CRT).
Current ACLS certification.
Current BLS certification.
Minimum of one to three years of related work experience.
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

Administering therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities.
