About The Position
Seeking a Respiratory Therapist! CRT/RRT! Full-time, 5:45p-6:00a, days vary, weekend/holiday rotation Baptist Health Floyd, Respiratory Care Southern Indiana/ Louisville, Kentucky area The Respiratory Therapist engages in the treatment and prevention of cardiopulmonary disease, utilizing respiratory equipment and techniques as prescribed by a physician. The Respiratory Therapist is a resource professional specializing in state-of-the-art respiratory technology and patient care based on evidence based, outcomes driven, and scientific standards. Position/Opportunity Highlights: · Opportunity to work in all areas of the hospital · Opportunity to use a variety of Respiratory Therapy skills · Opportunity to work with a great team of Certified and Registered Respiratory Therapists
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor's Degree from an AMA Accredited Respiratory Program
- Current NBRC Credentials as CRT/RRT required
- Successful completion of the CRT or RRT exam from the NBRC
- Active Indiana State Respiratory Care Practitioner License
- BLS certification required, will provide training
- ACLS certification within 12 months of hire
- PALS certification within 12 months of hire
- NRP certification within 6 months of hire
