About The Position

This 12-hour night shift Respiratory Therapist position is located at Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital, a 341-bed, Level II Trauma facility. Shifts run 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM with rotating schedules based on departmental needs. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend (or as needed), and holidays are required. No call is required. Floating to hospital floors is expected, and flexibility is essential, including support for nursery and ER when needed. Two days of orientation are provided. Documentation is completed in EPIC, and medications are managed through Pyxis.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2–3 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including at least some exposure to neonatal and pediatric populations
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• NBRC verification
• EPIC experience within the past two years
• Current license on file at time of submission
• Explanation for all employment gaps greater than 90 days
• Full work history details (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.)
• Reliable personal transportation
