About The Position

Description Job Description: Provides respiratory care to patients for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes Develops, implements, and/or adjusts orders based on patient assessment and patient response to therapy Provides scheduled and emergency therapy and/or diagnostic tests to patients/clients per policy and standard procedures Maintains accountability for patient care delegated or scheduled to others Communicates patient/family health care needs to the appropriate health care provider Provides accurate and timely documentation in patient care records per policy and standard procedures Communicates directly with appropriate health care team as needed Participates in team conferences and/or care coordination activities as needed

Requirements

• Education: Respiratory Therapy Associate's Degree.
• Licensure: Respiratory Care Practitioner or temporary permit issued by the MS State Board of Health as well as Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).

Nice To Haves

• Experience: One (1) Year of experience in all phases of respiratory care.
