About The Position

Respiratory Therapist Location: This role enables associates to work virtually full-time, except for required in-person training sessions, providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. This approach promotes productivity, supports work-life integration, and ensures essential face-to-face onboarding and skill development. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office. The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing guidance to condition management members to help make positive lifestyle changes to improve respiratory health. How you will make an impact: Collaborates with other health professionals to improve the health of members. Provides instructions to members on the use of inhalers, breathing techniques, Bipaps, and peak flow meters, as well as prevention techniques to reduce medical issues. Coaches members to make positive health changes with specialized health education focused on Asthma and COPD population. Minimum Requirements: Requires AS in Respiratory Therapy and minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a respiratory therapist; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Current Respiratory Care Professional license required. NBRC credentialing required. American Association of Respiratory Care registration required. Preferred Experiences, Skills and Capabilities: BA/BS preferred. Telephonic experience strongly preferred. Experience with DME strongly preferred. Requirements
