Requirements

  • Active Maryland RT license
  • Status: FT or PRN
  • Shift: 7a-7p

Responsibilities

  • Assess, treat, and monitor residents with respiratory conditions
  • Administer respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and breathing treatments as ordered
  • Monitor ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and other respiratory equipment as applicable
  • Evaluate resident responses to treatment and adjust care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Educate residents and families on respiratory care, equipment use, and treatment plans
  • Accurately document assessments, treatments, and resident progress in the medical record
  • Maintain and ensure proper functioning of respiratory equipment and supplies
  • Follow infection control, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines at all times
  • Collaborate closely with nursing, physicians, and rehabilitation staff to support resident care goals
