About The Position

Northwest Specialty Pre-Op/PACU Unit is seeking an experienced, patient-focused Respiratory Therapist to join our team! This position works variable shifts and is eligible for a $3.50/hour night shift differential. The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing pulmonary care in accordance to specific physician orders, department policies, and procedures. The Respiratory Therapist administers pulmonary care and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the pulmonary system, performing diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures related to the pulmonary system. Requirements

  • Associate of Science in Respiratory Therapy
  • Current LRT licensure through Idaho Board of Medicine
  • Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards
  • Must demonstrate initiative and discipline in time management and medical record review
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Current BLS Certification
  • ACLS and PALS Certification within 6 months of hire date

Responsibilities

  • providing pulmonary care in accordance to specific physician orders, department policies, and procedures
  • administers pulmonary care and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the pulmonary system
  • performing diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures related to the pulmonary system
