About The Position

Reporting to the Director of Cardio/Pulmonary/Neurology/Sleep Disorders, provides a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care services, for in patient and out patients of all ages.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy (RT) program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) required.
• Must have current licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Respiratory Therapist.
• RRT from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
• BLS healthcare provider required.
• NPR certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to make patients comfortable during procedures.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Computer skills required.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.

Nice To Haves

• Previous RT experience strongly preferred.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• Appropriate clinical rotations during the RT program are considered as satisfactory experience.
