About The Position
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a night shift position at an Acute Care / Academic Medical Center in Syracuse, NY. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care in a fast-paced hospital setting, working independently during overnight hours while responding effectively to emergencies.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Active NY State Respiratory Therapist License. Candidates from out-of-state are strongly encouraged to apply
- RRT or CRT credential required; BLS certification (ACLS & PALS preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure respiratory therapy experience
- Hospital/Acute Care experience strongly preferred
- Pediatric respiratory care is highly preferred
- Proficiency in respiratory care equipment & EMR systems
- Ability to work independently, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with medical teams
Nice To Haves
- ACLS & PALS certification

Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care in an acute care setting
- Monitor and assess patients requiring ventilator support, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory interventions
- Work autonomously during night shifts while ensuring prompt emergency response
- Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems
