Requirements

Valid Respiratory Therapist license or certification.
Strong knowledge of respiratory care procedures and equipment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory ailments and disorders.
Administer respiratory therapy treatments such as oxygen therapy, bronchopulmonary hygiene, and mechanical ventilation assistance.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Educate patients and their families on managing respiratory conditions and proper use of respiratory equipment.
Maintain accurate patient records and document treatments given.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
