About The Position
Pulmonary Associates of Richmond (PAR) has been serving the greater Richmond community for 50 years, specializing in pulmonary medicine, sleep disorders, and research. The staff is dedicated to providing excellent quality care and customer service. PAR is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic full-time Respiratory Therapist for their Waterford PAR location.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- At least 2 years of experience required
- RRT or CPFT is required
- Virginia State Respiratory Therapist license is required

- Clinical experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Administers pulmonary function testing, including spirometry, flow volume loops with and without bronchodilator, DLCO, nitrogen washout, and plethysmography
- Administers six-minute walk test, 02 therapy, and Nebulizer treatment
- Review ’s pulmonary function studies with medical students, medical staff and physicians
- Educates patients regarding pulmonary medications and use of oxygen
- Coordinates clinic schedules for pulmonary physicians and for special tests within the clinic and outlying facilities
- Maintains pulmonary function equipment and associated supplies
- Completes reports for pulmonary function tests and distributes to ordering physicians
